My dear Father

I hope this letter finds you in good health. How is your work going? We are doing well here.

In your absence, many memorable events took place in the society here. One of them was a cultural program organized. This cultural program was held in our society’s park and a stage was set up in the middle of it.

Various competitions like dancing, singing, and poetry recitation were held in the program. The entire park was decorated with colourful flags and lights. Stalls of food and drinks were also arranged.

Nikhil and I also participated in the ceremony. We performed the Bhangra dance. Everyone applauded and appreciated us. Other people also presented exciting performances.

The journalist from a reputed newspaper took many pictures, which will be published in the local newspaper. It will be a surprise to see our pictures in the newspaper. I am so excited about it.

The minister of cultural affairs watched the program and invited us to participate in the state-level cultural program to be held next year.

 I wish you were here. we are waiting for you.
