How do different metals occur in nature?

Metals are found in nature in the form of their compounds and they are extracted from their ores.

An ore contains a number of other compounds in the form of impurities such as sand and dust particles.

On the basis of the abundance of metals in the earth's crust as follows-

i.               Aluminium 7%

ii.            Iron 4%

iii.         Calcium 3%

 

Aluminium is the most abundant metal in the earth's crust.
