· Take ½ kg flour (atta/maida).
· Add some sugar and mix with warm water.
· Add a small amount
of yeast powder and knead to make a soft dough.

· At first we take
some flour in a pan
· And add some sugar
to it.
· We add some amount
of yeast powder.
· After that we add
some lukewarm water.
· We knead to make the dough and keep it for some time.

After two hours, we see the dough rises up and become
fluffy.

This happens because yeast reproduces rapidly in the
presence of sugar and produces carbon dioxide gas. This gas gets trapped in the dough
and makes it rise.
