When the prongs of the vibrating tuning fork are
touched the glass is filled with water, and we can see vibrations on the surface of the water. We can also hear a sizzling sound.
When we dip the prongs of the tuning fork inside water,
water splashes out of the glass.
This happens because of the kinetic energy of vibration transferred
to the water.
