(a) If the speed of a bus or car increases then the acceleration of the bus is in the direction of motion.
(b) If the brakes are applied, the speed of the bus decreases, then the acceleration is against the direction of motion.
(c) The acceleration of a freely falling body under gravity is uniform.
(d) If a bus is passing through a congested road, it accelerates or retards, then acceleration is said to be non-uniform.
