   ·     Measure the time it takes you to walk from your house to your bus stop or the school. If you consider that your average walking speed is 4 km/h. estimate the distance of the bus stop or school from your house.

Suppose we take 30 minutes to reach the bus stop or the school from our house.

Average speed = 4km/h

`\therefore\ Distance=\ \ speed\ \times\ time` 

Time = 30min= =`\frac{30}{60}=\ \frac{1}{2}`hour

So 

Distance = `4\times\frac{1}{2}\ =\ 2km`

so the distance of the bus stop or school is 2km from our house.
