· Set up an electric circuit as shown in the figure.
· Place the metal to be tested in the circuit between terminals A and B as shown.
· Does the bulb glow? What does this indicate?

Electrical conductivity:
Almost all metals are good conductors of electricity. However, they differ in
their conducting power. The electrical conductivity of metals is due to
electrons which are the charge carrier.
The conducting power of a metal decreases with the rise in temperature.
