CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) has declared the syllabus/curriculum for the academic session 2021-22. According to this new revised syllabus, Examination for session 2021-22 will be conducted in two terms named Term-1 and Term-2. Revised syllabus carries 100 marks for session 2021-22 examination
UP Board implementing
NCERT books so UP Board syllabus will be the same as CBSE.
You know that schools could not open
since last year due to the corona pandemic and this year also schools are closed.
Board exams had to be cancelled for session 2020-21.
Keeping all these situations in consideration,
CBSE has designed the syllabus in such a way that the student should not be affected under any circumstances.
Both Term –I and Term-II
will be of 40 marks (Total 80 Marks) and 10 marks will be provided for each Internal
Assessment (Term I + II),
So complete syllabus
carries 100 marks, which are divided as follows-
Term –I – 40 marks
Term –II- 40 marks
Two internal assessments-
10+10= 20 marks
Total marks = 100 marks
Periodic Assessment will
also, be conducted which includes-
1.
Three periodic tests
will be conducted by the school for complete session and marks of two best
periodic tests out of three tests will be considered.
2.
Short tests, oral
test, quiz, concept maps, projects, posters, inquiry-based scientific investigation, the presentation will be conducted.
3.
Practical and
laboratory work will also be conducted throughout the session and students are
instructed to maintain records for the practical work.
4.
Students are instructed
to prepare a Portfolio that includes classwork and other samples of student
work.

CBSE syllabus for
class 9th 2021-22
In the new revised syllabus, all the
chapters of NCERT books are divided into units. A certain weightage/mark has
been fixed for each unit.
CBSE Class 9th
Exam Pattern 2021-22
The examinations for class 9th will be
conducted twice in the session 2021-22. For class 9th in the session
2021-22 will be like this-
1. All questions in Term – I will be
asked objective type (MCQs). For which 90 minutes will be given. 40 marks are
allotted for this. Term – I exam will be held in November – December 2021.
2. All questions in Term-II will be the
subjective type/descriptive. For which 2 hours will be given. 40 marks are
allotted for this. The term-II exam will be held in April-May 2022.
Thus 40+40=80 marks for Term-I
and Term-II
In case the circumstances are not
suitable for Term-II, the examination will be conducted as per the pattern of
Term-I. The new pattern of the exam will be made available to you.

CBSE Internal Assessment Scheme
20121-22 for Class 9th
CBSE (Central Board of Secondary
Education) has implemented a new evaluation scheme for class 9th in
the session 2021-22.
In the session 2021-22, the internal
assessment of the students will be done twice for which 10-10 marks are
fixed. The internal assessment will be done at the school level. Internal
assessment will be done through Periodic Tests, Oral Tests, and Practical Tests
etc.
Examination
Result 2021- 22 for Class 9th
Examination results made according to
both Term exams and for this following four options have been provided –
1. If both the Term-I and Term-II
examinations are conducted without any hindrance then the weightage of marks
will be equal for both the term examinations.
2. If the schools are closed at the
time of Term-I examination and students appear from home offline or online and
Term-II examination is held at the center, then in such case the Term-I
weightage will be reduced and Term-II weightage will increase.
3. If Term-I exam is conducted
successfully but Term-II exam is conducted offline or online from home due to
COVID or other reasons, then weightage of Term-II and internal assessment will
be reduced and the weightage of Term-I will increase.
4. In case both the Term-I and
Term-II examinations are not held at the school or at the examination center,
the result will be made on the basis of internal assessment and practical
examination. Students will give Term-I and Term-II exams from home.
