CBSE Revised syllabus of Class 11 Science 2021-22

 CBSE(Central Board of Secondary Education) has  recently released  the term wise syllabus for classes 9 to 12.This new syllabus is totally based on NCERT books so not to worry about it, the only examination pattern is new.

 

What is the marks weightage of all chapters/units of 11^th Science of new syllabus of NCERT?

Here you will get the Revised Term wise syllabus for 11^th Science for session 2021-22. The syllabus is completely based on NCERT books. CBSE designed the curriculum/syllabus in accordance with NCF-2005.

Examination for session 2021-22 will be conducted in two terms respectively- Term-I and Term-II and apart from this ‘Internal Assessment’ on the school level Will also be conducted.

 

All chapters of NCERT books of Science stream have been divided into Units and each unit carries a fixed weightage/marks.

Term- I examination will be held in the month of November-December 2021 and Term-II examination will be held in the month April-May 2022.

Internal Assessment will be conducted on the basis of Practical or paper pen test.

Term-I -35 marks                       Term –II- 35 marks

Practical -15marks                      Practical -15marks

Total -50 marks                          Total- 50 marks

In Term –I examination, all questions will be Multiple Choice based(MCQs) which covers 50% of the total syllabus prescribed by CBSE and students will get 90 minutes to solve.

 

Term-II examination includes subjective type’s questions and students will get 2 hours for it.

 

Students must take only those subjects in class XI which he/she would like to continue in class XII. Students in class XI can offer a minimum of 5 or more subjects and they need to continue the same subjects in class XII.
